Please pray that my brother Jimmy's meeting with AT&T goes well this week and that no other actions need to be pursued. He only wants to get back to work, no harm to the company. Also, please pray for all those involved in this matter; the customer, AT&T management, the Union, Jimmy and Angie....pray that their lives are touched if not changed by this whole ordeal.

I would like to give PMBC an update on my brother's (Santos) leg. First, he went to see his Doctor (Dr. Rao) for the blood clot, that he had in his leg. He was on medication for that blood clot, ever since his incident and now, "THANK GOD", his doctor took him off of the medication. He has no more blood clot. The next day, he went to see his other doctor (Dr. Buckle) for his broken bone in his leg. She loved what she saw in the X-rays. She told him that his bone was healing. Just a few weeks ago, she told him that he might be possibly looking at having another surgery, cause he was not producing enough (red, wht cells) to heal his bone. I told my brother, "the only way that this could have happen is through our lord and savior, Jesus Christ". That, for some strange reason (miraculously) his bone was healing. As far as another surgery, she said "let's give it another 8 weeks". If his bone in his leg continues to heal, then no more surgery and some time in January, they will take out all the screws and rods taht are in his leg. He (Santos) thought, he would never heal or even walk the way he use to. I would say, his leg is about 75% healed and on its way to being 110%, full use of his leg. Thank you, PMBC for all your prayers and most of all "Thank you, my lord Jesus Christ"

Please continue to pray for Sister Leslie and Alyssa. Habitat for Humanity came to my home on Wednesday to discuss their program and I should receive a letter on August 9th stating whether I was approved for a Home. Also keep my sister Melissa and bro-n-law Joe in prayer for strength and for God to give them wisdom and direction, they have his brother's 6 kids that CPS has handed over to them ages 16yr-4yr. God knows our needs even before we ask and I know He will make and provide a way for them.

Dad this is from my Parking Team at Church.

Dear friends and family, I have an urgent prayer request. Our dear friends, Jeff and Chandra Pereira have suffered a terrible tragedy today. Jeff and Chan have two small children, Jade (4) and Logan (23 months). Jeff's mother, Jeanine, moved from Canada earlier this year and is living with them. Today, Chan was at a friend's funeral and Jeff was running some errands, and Jeanine was babysitting the children. We believe Logan fell into their pool. Jeanine jumped in to save him, but she herself can not swim. The next door neighbor happened to look over the fence and saw her floating in the pool and heard Jade screaming. He pulled them both Jeanine and Logan from the pool, called 911, and began CPR. We have no idea how long they were in the water, but the doctors believe it was for a substantial amount of time. Jeff arrived home just as the ambulance was getting ready to take them to the hospital. They are both at Vanderbilt now. They both have a heartbeat, but both are on respirators. There has been no neurological activity. They have been put into an induced coma and the doctors are now in the process of lowering both of the body temperatures and will keep them in that state for 24 hours and then will let the bodies warm up on their own which should take about 15 hours. We really won't know anything for sure until Wednesday, but the prognosis is not good. Logan has 2nd degree burns on his back and ear where they laid him on the hot concrete when they were doing CPR. The doctors have told Jeff and Chan that in most cases like this the chance of survival is slim. Grove and I have just come from the hospital. To say that it's devastating is a gross understatement. Our group of friends is like a family and we all feel so helpless watching our dear friends suffer this way! They have a large group of friends here and Chan's family and Jeff's sister are both on the way to Nashville .

All of you know that I'm a HUGE believer in the power of prayer. I have seen miracles happen many times in that hospital with my own brother and know that with God's grace anything is possible. Please, PLEASE take a moment today and say a prayer for Logan and Jeanine Pereira and also for Jeff, Chandra, and Jade.

God bless and love to all!
