Looks like summer is on its way out of here, with only one more month until school starts.   It is ok to go back to school.  School is Cool!!  Thank the Lord that we have schools to teach our children math, science, reading, and writing.  Thank the Lord we have Sunday school to teach our children about Jesus and God’s commandments.  Although it is a choice to go to Sunday school, it is just as important, to learn the Book of Life.

            We had a wonderful time at our July outing.  H & H Ranch was the place to be.  The children were catered bar-b-que.   They were so excited to get to the activities, they could hardly eat.  They had access to paddle boats, moonwalks, swimming pool, play ground, carousel, and all you can eat hot dog and drinks.  The sun was bright but to the kids, it was just fine.  At the end of the day, we were looking like a hot dog.  We forgot the sunscreen.  We had a blast though.  As an added bonus to the leaders, the boys were exceptionally well behaved.  We are so proud of you guys: Aaron, Christian, Nicholas, Sebastian, Ernesto, and Rafael.

            This month, we have special plans for our Sunday School Class.  Come to class to get all the details.  Our lessons this month will be out of the book of Acts.  Tell What You Know, Acts 10:1-48; Tell Wherever You Go, Acts 14; Tell by What You Do, Acts 16:16-34; Even When It’s Tough, Acts 21:27-22:29; Tell Your Story, Acts 26.  Life’s applications to the lessons will be I CAN.  I can tell people about Jesus.  I can tell others about Jesus wherever I am.  I can tell about Jesus by what I do.  With God’s help, I can tell about Jesus even when it’s difficult.  I can tell others what God has done for me.

            We look forward to seeing you in Sunday School and Wednesday night Bible Study.  Invite a friend.  We will save a seat for ya’ll.  The Word says to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”    Matthew 28:19
